What telehealth is. Telehealth means receiving medical evaluation and treatment remotely, using electronic communications instead of an in-person visit. On ManeupLabsRx, you complete a structured medical questionnaire, and a licensed clinician reviews your information asynchronously — meaning the review may happen after you submit it, without a live video or phone appointment. When clinically appropriate, or when required by your state, a clinician may contact you for a synchronous (live) consultation instead.
Who provides your care. Medical services are provided by independent, board-certified clinicians through Arora Health and Aesthetics, a physician-owned professional corporation, licensed in the state where you are located at the time of your visit. ManeupLabsRx is not a healthcare provider and does not practice medicine; it provides the technology platform and sells the products your clinician may prescribe. Your clinician's professional judgment is independent of ManeupLabsRx.
Possible benefits. Access to licensed care without travel or scheduling delay, and convenient ongoing management of your treatment.
Possible risks. Telehealth relies on the information you provide. If your answers are incomplete or inaccurate, your clinician may make decisions that would have been different with complete information. A remote visit does not include a physical examination, which in rare cases could mean a condition is not identified. Technical failures may delay care. In rare circumstances, security protocols could fail and cause a breach of privacy, though your information is protected as described in our Privacy Policy and under HIPAA.
Your responsibilities. You agree to answer all medical questions truthfully and completely, to review the medication information provided with your prescription, to use medication only as directed, and to update your clinician through the patient portal if your health changes or you experience side effects.
No guarantee of prescription. Completing a visit does not guarantee a prescription. Your clinician may determine that treatment is not appropriate for you and decline to prescribe. You are not charged for medication if no prescription is issued.
Alternatives. You may seek in-person care from your own physician or another provider at any time. Treatment through this platform is optional.
Emergencies. Telehealth on this platform is not for emergencies. If you experience a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you experience a concerning reaction to a medication, stop taking it and contact your clinician, your local physician, or Poison Control (1-800-222-1222) as appropriate.
Your rights. You may withhold or withdraw this consent at any time by stopping use of the service and cancelling your plan; withdrawal does not affect care already provided. You have the right to ask your clinician questions before, during, and after your visit, and to receive a copy of your medical records as described in the Privacy Policy.
State law. Telehealth rules vary by state. Your visit is conducted under, and your clinician is licensed under, the laws of the state where you are located. The service is available only within the United States.
